Most common order for Custom Printed Hang Tags
Hang Tags are generally small, but can be ordered in a variety of sizes. The most common order is for 2" x 3.5" on 14pt Gloss Cardstock. They are almost always printed in full colour on both sides (4/4) with UV coating on at least one side.

After you choose shape and size, we have a wide choice of paper stock to make sure that our custom hang tags fit your needs. Depending on the stock you choose, there may be additional coating options. For coated paper stocks you can choose one of the three available lamination options (Silk (Matte), Gloss, or Soft Touch). Custom Printed Hang Tags Shapes
Choosing the right shape and size when you decide to print hang tags online can make an important difference in the way your customers see your brand and products. We have five available options to make sure they represent your brand the best possible way.
Rectangle
Rectangle hang tags can be horizontal or vertical, with straight or round corners.
Square
A good option for symmetrical or more balanced design. They can have straight or round corners.
Circle
Circle shape is perfect for businesses that think outside the box.
Oval
Traditional look with just a little something added to attract more attention.
Diamond
Diamond shaped custom printed hang tags are perfect for those who want added elegance.
Hole Drill Position
For custom hang tags printing, choosing the right hole drill position is a must, as it will affect the design and overall look of your custom hang tags. There should not be any important design elements in the area where the hole will be. Imagine how problematic it would be if the price is not visible on your price tags because of the hole.
For round holes there are three sizes available - 0.125 inches, 0.25 inches or 0.3625 inches.
For badge drill the available options are 0.125 x 0.625 inches and 0.25 x 1.25 inches.
Rectangle and Square shape Hang Tags
Depending on the design, there are multiple options to choose from for rectangle and square shaped hang tags printing.
For vertically oriented hang tags, choose one of the available top drilling options (top center, top left, top right) for the round hole drill. You should go with the option that disturbs the design the least.
Horizontal hang tags most often have a centre left hole drill. Other available options are top left, or bottom left. Make sure that your design is oriented accordingly.
Circle and Oval shape Custom Printed Hang Tags
When choosing where to place the hole on circle custom Hang Tags, you should make sure it does not disturb your design.
Available options to choose from are Top Centre and Centre Left for both circle and oval shapes, vertical or horizontal.
Diamond shape Custom printed Hang Tags
For diamond hang tags the narrow part is a good indication where the hole needs to be, and you should create the design accordingly. Make sure there are no important parts of your design in the area of the corner cuts.
For vertical hang tags, the hole will be in the Top Centre position. For horizontal orientation it will be Centre Left.
Badge drill Hang Tags
If you are planning to use wide and flat loop materials you can choose a badge drill instead of a round one.
In case a ribbon is going to be wrapped around the item like a belt, you can choose the top and bottom badge drill, and the loop can go throuh both holes.
A badge drill comes in two sizes - 0.125 x 0.625 inches and 0.25 x 1.25 inches.
